Since we're talking about space and materials, let's start with human matter! This is the story of a friendly encounter on the benches of École Bleue. The two presumed opposites actually share a few things in common: firstly, a passion for the design of living spaces and the shaping of noble materials, which they design all day long.
day. But they're also two strongheaded blondes with leadership qualities, determined to turn clichés on their head!

Their first years in the profession were a sign of their temperament: after a successful experience with the firm 5-cinq architecte, Anastasia launched her first agency, Madame architecte, in 2016, while Mélanie continued her studies at the École Spéciale d'Architecture, and founded ALT-C Archi, in 2014.

A few years later, the two work-addicts reunited during the renovation of a mutual friend's project, giving birth to Le Studio Gazelles, specializing in interior architecture, in 2017. Why "Gazelles"? Because it takes breath and allure to set up a women's architecture studio, focused on sustainability, virtuous circuits and respect for artisanal know-how.

The success was immediate, and the orders followed: numerous renovated apartments, bar concepts, flex offices fitted out with greenery, large spaces redesigned, such as the legendary Rex Club in Paris or the 4* Hotel Le Relais Saint Jean. The pre-existing volume of the property is very important, and they analyze the potential of the site. While preserving the envelope, they take the project and twist its neck. Their signature design is ergonomic, functional and made-to-measure.

Both poetic and contemporary, their trademark is the enhancement of spaces through an almost plastic use of light. Building on its reputation, and always eager for new adventures, Studio Gazelles launches its first
furniture range this year with Studio Gazelles éditions: design objects, creations that they design and have produced in France by local craftsmen.
