Alessandro Pedretti graduated in Architecture in Milan. In 1992, he won his first award in the international competition Osram NewTech for an innovative, energy-saving lighting fixture. He has been working in partnership with Italo Rota (Rota & Partners Studio) since 1998, co-designing international architectural, urban and interior design projects, not to mention industrial design projects for leading companies in the sector. His work varies in subject, scale and type, yet establishes a relationship of intense sensorial design with the user, which transcends mere visual perception. In 2007, he designed the Noaxis hanging lamp and the Noon wall lamp for FontanaArte."
