Astori DE PONTI Associati

Astori De Ponti Associati was set up in 2004 and focuses mainly on interior design. Its founding members are Antonia Astori De Ponti and Nicola De Ponti. After graduating in Industrial and Visual Design in Lausanne, Antonia Astori founded Driade in 1968, designing furniture systems as well as installations and exhibitions. She also worked in interior design on projects for homes, offices, showrooms and stores. Her long-standing partnership with the French fashion designers, Marithé and François Girbaud, was highly influential in her store design work. And add to her vital talents on the national and international scene an active participation in the field of event design, including the unforgettable Eurodomus event held in Turin in 1971 under the aegis of Gio Ponti. Nicola De Ponti graduated in Architecture from Milan Polytechnic in 2000. From 1996 to 1999, he gained valuable work experience at the architecture and design studio, Tusquets, Diaz y Asociados. From 2001 to 2004, he worked in Milan with the architectural studio Flavio Albanese and then went freelance. He also collaborates with the Milan Polytechnic giving design criticism.
