Charles Kalpakian was born in Beirut in 1982. In 2011, after collaborating with renowned agencies such as Ora Ito and Christophe Pillet, he created his own design studio and develops his own projects.
He draws his inspiration from the traditions of the countries with which he is linked, namely France and Lebanon, as well as from urban art. His style is a combination of oriental and European influences, all with a modern touch.
He designs furniture and is involved in the design of utility and decorative products and objects.
He has notably designed creations for the BSL gallery in Paris. Recently, he has collaborated with several brands such as private label, Nemo Lighting, Paris Sq Quema and Habitat.
