Since 2012, Chris Basias is one of the founders of the creative studio CT Lights, based in Athens, Greece.
From the beginning, his love for creation and experimentation led him to explore the world of Art and product design. He is passionate about the creative process and prototypes his ideas in non-traditional ways.
His lighting concepts often display allusions to an eccentric and romantic ideal, with an element of play and references from his childhood experiences in the Greek countryside.
His designs are highly original and characterised by simple lines and geometric shapes. Each piece has a story to tell and leaves room for the beauty and emotion that underlies the innovative craftsmanship.
He also works with Kundalini for whom he created the Azou wall lamp.
