Frédérick Gautier is a French designer with a unique career path.
After more than twenty years as an artistic director in the cultural sector, he chose to devote himself to creating objects by exploring raw materials such as ceramics and concrete. It was during his studies at the École Nationale Supérieure du Paysage de Versailles that he developed a fascination for Brutalist architecture and perfected a type of clay whose appearance, once fired, resembles that of concrete. This research gave rise to his creative signature, FCK—a world where material and form interact with understated elegance and character.
More than just a designer, Frédérick Gautier defines himself as an artist who works with materials. His work is guided by simplicity, functionality, and a deep reflection on the use of objects. Inspired by Brutalism, his creations are distinguished by clean lines, a strong structural integrity, and a bold sculptural presence. Following the success of his FCK tableware collection, he has expanded his creative universe to include kitchenware, home accessories, and lighting, all characterized by that subtle balance between architectural precision and contemporary sensibility.
Today, he continues his creative journey through a collaboration with Serax, for which he develops collections that extend his unique vision of design and the art of living.
