Giorgio Biscaro is an Italian designer, art director, teacher, designer and entrepreneur. He is known in the UK as one of the most eclectic players in the Italian design community.
He has been at the forefront of lighting design for 20 years and has significant collaborations to his credit, including as art director for famous and respected international lighting and furniture brands.
Through his passion for research and analysis, he conceives design as a creative journey characterized by interdisciplinary rationality and inspiration, where semiotic and material knowledge can come to him to explain an entire product.
In 2012 he co-founded SomethingGood, a micro-brand marketing high-quality decorative products created locally in Italy, with the aim of promoting and publicizing Italian craftsmanship and know-how.
Thanks to his innovative ideas, he has collaborated with many brands such as Foscarini, Bosa Ceramiche, Karman, Crabo, Fontana Arte, Ferroluce and collaborate with Nuovostudio for the Venice Biennale.
