The Dutch studio Good&Mojo was launched in 2015 by the same team behind It’s about RoMi. This new eco-responsible studio uses natural and high-quality materials such as cork, recycled paper, wood chips, eco linen and bamboo. Good&Mojo studio creates sustainable design lighting with a genuine humanitarian goal. The studio collaborates with the non-profit Waka Waka Dutch Foundation in its attempt to improve lighting for persons in need and backs projects such as Nepal Earthquake Aid, Safe Light for Nigeria, Refugees in Lebanon. The Waka Waka Foundation is behind the creation of solar lights with a long life: one day solar charging provides 80 hours of lighting! These solar lights are an alternative to dangerous kerosene lights that can still be found in these countries. Each Good&Mojo light sold means a 5% donation is given to the Waka Waka Foundation. Jimmy Nelson’s book, "Before They Pass Away" was the inspiration for It’s about RoMi's development of Good&Mojo sustainable products. This book presents today’s active tribes and how they are preserving their traditions in the modern and globalized world. Good&Mojo products are named for mountains, rivers, national parks… further emphasizing eco-responsibility.
