Hervé Langlais is a French lighting and furniture designer, working in a contemporary style. Widely praised, Hervé Langlais focuses on perspective, purity of form and harmony in his designs. Artistic director and designer at the Gallery Negropontes, his furniture was produced as one-off or in limited series. A 19-year collaboration with architect Paul Andreu opened opportunities to work on large-scale projects such as the Beijing Opera House as well as lighting and furniture designs. He has collaborated with many brands, notably La Fibule, Drugeot Labo, D’argentat and Designheure, the latter for whom his Cloud lighting collection was a bestseller. A new elegant design and clever nomad lighting, it gives the feeling of floating in the air.
