Ilia Sergeevich Potemin is a young Russian designer with many diverse talents such as aircraft pilot, painter and still inventor. "The sky is its space, the sun a revolutionary star, and the earth a temporal stopover, the time to draw dazzling lights imagined in full mainstream rupture. "He is now the genius of the lamp thanks to his inimitable creations.
His first creation for DCW editions, named by his initials "ISP", was a lamp created in 2017, without a switch, dimmer and bulb. Evoking at the same time a Nautilus, a HAL, an ark of light, the ISP lamp is already a mythology, a fiat-lux deliberately stripped of the corpus of orthodox lamps.
One year later, this young designer won the Land Rover Born Award for the ISP in the Interiors category. A designer with a promising future....
