The designers Johannes Marmon and Johannes Müller founded JJOO Design in 2007. They both studied product design at the Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design (HfG). After working and studying in Berlin, Zürich, Helsinki and Copenhagen, they mixed their talents and founded their studio. Since then, they have developed products, furniture and lighting for various manufacturers and have organized projects and exhibitions such as Oh Tannenbaum – designer Christmas trees. The Tilt and the Fade lamp are two creations by JJOO Design for Nyta, a German brand. The Tilt light is unique in its simple mechanism which adjusts the direction of its light.
