Joran Briand is a young French designer from Brittany in France. He studied at l’Ecole Olivier de Serres, and then l’École Nationale des Arts Décoratifs in Paris before founding his own studio in 2011 in Montreuil in the Parisian suburbs. He then spent one year in New York, where he was in charge of store design for French brands. Once back in France, he worked as Projet Manager, alongside the talented Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance. The ocean is his main source of inspiration, looking out at the energy of waves or the distant horizon, always searching to incorporate the sea into each one of his creations. In 2013, he worked with the French design brand, Eno, and created the airy and elegant pendant light, Bridget.
