Komplot Design is a design studio based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Founded in 1987, Komplot Design was born out of a partnership between Danish architect Poul Christiansen (b. 1947) and Russian industrial and graphic designer Boris Berlin (b. 1953).

Komplot Design works in the fields of industrial, graphic and furniture design and has distinguished itself as one of the most innovative design studios.

The studio has designed furniture and created multidisciplinary design solutions for Danish and international companies, including Le Klint and Lightyears.

In furniture design, Christiansen and Berlin have succeeded in both preserving and renewing the Danish design tradition, while at the same time taking advantage of new technological developments. They have successfully experimented with new manufacturing techniques and materials, which has earned them a long list of design awards and prizes.

Their designs have won several prestigious awards and their GUBI 1 chair is now part of the permanent collection at MoMA in New York.

"We believe that throughout the history of design, many traditions in the field have been preoccupied with the idea of total control over function, form, material, etc."
