Kyla McCallum

Kyla McCallum is a multidisciplinary designer and founder of the Foldability design studio in London.
Of Scottish descent, Kyla studied at the prestigious Glasgow School of Art abroad in Milan and Cologne. Kyla's projects include interior design, scenography and large-scale showcases. In recent years, Kyla has developed a variety of techniques for folding labile materials such as paper and cloth, as well as rigid materials such as metal and laminate.
Most of Kyla's designs look like a single piece, but his precision products, such as the spectacular Fold suspension and the Case cushion series designed for Northern, can be made in multiples. Elegant, fun and spontaneous equal parts, the design of Kyla always surprises and delight.
