1960
Nationality
French
Occupation
Designer

Born in Besancon, France in 1960, the designer Laurent Bailly has worked with several architects and designers, including Joel Laffly (Herbelin® watches, Swatch®). In 2007, he and his wife founded Applymage Company, for which he draws and designs products for large companies. He aims to create objects with clean lines, without any tricks (except maybe technical ones), yet endowed with multiple functions. For him, it is always an exciting challenge. Many of his creations have received the Label of Observeur du Design: the Light & News lamp, the Art Maderno furniture collection and the Versilo capsule dispenser. He designed the desk lamp, L'Empirique, for the French studio DesignHeure, which was a real success at Euroluce in Milan in 2009.
