BYMARS aka Mars design studio was founded in Stockholm in 2010 by South Korean designer Mars Hwasung Yoo. The same year, he was awarded the Young Swedish Designer of the Year in 2010.
The studio produces its own objects and works predominately in the design of furniture, lighting and product design, with much of its work centred on the decontextualisation of existing objects.
In 2012, he worked with the French brand Eno in order to create the beautiful and original Hat lamp, a pendant hat-shaped light.
