Marzio Rusconi Clerici was born in Milan on August 22, 1960, after high school at Leonardo da Vinci, he moved a year to Paris until 1979, where he attended the school of graphic design "Atelier Albers". He entered to the Faculty of Architecture Polytechnic of Milan. He graduated, then moved to London for two years, from 1984 to 1986, where he designed and built, with Laura Agnolotto, radio and television objects.

Returning to Milan in 1987, he inaugurated in the heart of the city, in Via Amedei 3, the studio-laboratory, also designed the space as-exhibition, with his friend and colleague Laura Agnoletto. Together, they participate in numerous exhibitions in Italy and abroad, creating several "unique pieces" between art and design. At the same time, they manage the design of lamps and furniture for several companies such as Memphis, Nemo, Mastrangelo, FontanaArte, Pallucco, Zeus, Status, Slide, Glas, Swatch, Martini, Kundalini; For the latter company, Marzio Rusconi Clerici, designs the lamp "Shakti" selected for the gold compass.

Since the early 2000s, he has collaborated on several occasions with Turner & Townsend Project Management Italia. He also participated in the design of the lamps on the San Remo bike path and the Varazze sea promenade (Liguria), the new Cinema Palace in Venice next to the Boeri (Venice) and the Modam museum. And Fashion School in Milan, in collaboration with Atelier Mendini.
