Mashallah

Berlin based Mashallah is an interdisciplinary design studio fascinated by the poetry of art and technology. Established in 2008 by Hande Akçayli and Murat Koçyigit, the studio follows a free and experimental design approach. Programming and sculpting solely in a software environment, the independent designs made under this label combine digital design with traditional craft, resulting in contemporary relevant works. The soul of Mashallah is Hande Akçayli & Murat Koçyigit. Hande Akçayli studied design and experimental fashion in Moscow, Istanbul and at the Berlin University of the Arts. Murat Koçyigit completed his Industrial Design studies with an emphasis on process design at the same University.
