Born in 1974 in Spain, Miguel Ángel García Belmonte is a Spanish designer and founded Pottery Project in 2013, to express his art through his many creations. Each of his pieces offers a timeless design, based on natural materials and traditional manufacturing techniques.
Mr. Ángel García Belmonte wishes to preserve the history and local culture of his region, so he combines ancestral craftsmanship with more modern processes to give life to functional objects with a contemporary touch. In addition, he draws his inspiration from his surroundings, sensory perception and the quality of materials.
Each of Miguel Ángel García Belmonte's collections is unique and distinguished by its natural, subtle form and warm colors. The Flame suspension lamp is one of Pott's iconic pieces, a terracotta lamp inspired by the origins of traditional pottery.
