Born in Barcelona, Nutcreatives is a design agency created by Alex Jimenez in 2009. It mainly designs products and services from the circular economy giving rise to positive environmental and social impacts.
Nutcreatives is a multidisciplinary team that supports private and public companies throughout their project while paying attention to the economic, ecological and societal impacts in the business in which the client is located. The agency also develops training and workshops in circular economy and eco-design using a particular methodology: that of design-thinking, which is an innovation management method that helps in the face of an innovation project, be based on the approach that a designer would have had.
Versatile, Nutcreatives has worked in several different sectors: furniture, lighting, toys and packaging. They designed several luminaires for different brands: the "Boy" table lamp for Carpyen, the "Fold" wall lamp for Faro or the "LaFlor" lighting for the Spanish Lucirmás made from recycled glass.
In 2014, the agency also invited a trophy to the winners of the prizes for social innovation projects organized by the European Investment Bank.
