Nutcreatives is a Barcelona-based design agency founded by Alex Jimenez in 2009. Its main focus is on products and services derived from the circular economy, with positive environmental and social impacts.
Nutcreatives is a multi-disciplinary team that accompanies private and public companies throughout their projects, paying attention to the economic, ecological and societal impacts of the company in which the customer is located. The agency also develops training courses and workshops in circular economy and eco-design, using a particular methodology: that of design-thinking, an innovation management method based on the approach a designer would have taken.
Versatile, Nutcreatives has worked in many different sectors: from furniture and lighting to toys and packaging. They have designed several lighting fixtures for different brands: the "Garçon" table lamp for Carpyen, the "Fold" wall lamp for Faro and the "LaFlor" lighting fixture for Spanish company Lucirmás, made from recycled glass.
In 2014, the agency was also invited to present a trophy to the winners of the social innovation project awards organized by the European Investment Bank.
