Stefan Börselius is a Swedish designer born in Höllviken. He has studied furniture design and manufacturing for more than 10 years with a specialization in wood. He finished his studies at the Steneby School. After his studies he opened his own design studio. During his early years he worked closely with the designer Fredrik Mattson. From their first collaboration, the Sting aluminum chair for the furniture company Blå Station in Sweden was born.
Since then, Stefan Börselius has built his reputation on his ability to develop new products that meet the needs of society with today's new materials. He considers himself a craftsman for whom drawing and modeling are paramount.
His inspiration comes from everyday life, unsolved problems and new materials. During his career Stefan Börselius has won several design awards and some of his products are exhibited in the collections of the Swedish National Museum Stockholm.
