Studio 63 is an architecture and design studio based in the historical center of Florence, Italy. The fruitful encounter between Piero Angelo Orecchioni and Massimo Dei led to the foundation of Studio 63 in 1998. Massimo Dei studied at the Faculty of Architecture in Florence and from an early age, had been interested in design. As a result, he has collaborated with a number of companies as a designer and in product development. Piero Angelo Orecchioni is an architect and designer with a passion for art and theatre. With the help of his friend and mentor, Mario Mariotti, he exhibited his artistic works in a series of collective and personal exhibitions organized by Mariotti in 1994. Piero obtained his degree in Architecture from the University of Florence in 1989. While the headquarters are still in Florence, the studio has expanded to include international operations and now has offices in Hong Kong (2005) and Shanghai (2008) and a partner office in New York (2011). The creative team is composed of professionals, coming from various disciplines, working together in a fertile and challenging multi-cultural exchange.
