Francesco Iannone and Serena Tellini are both of them graduating in Architecture at the Polytechnic of Milan. The couple decided to found Consuline in 1975 and became pioneers of Lighting Design in Italy. Moreover, they created the PLDA (Professional Lighting Designers' Association).

With 30 years' experience in the field of architectural lighting design they realized many projects. Their most famous are the illumination of the Formula 1 Circuit Shanghai and the Lighting Master Plan for the Beijing Olympic Games.

They also collaborated with several leading brands in the lighting industry such as Artemide, Targetti, Siteco, Osram, Fos Nova, Fivep, Ghidini, Performance in Light, OYLight, Luceplan, Cariboni. They realized serial production and specific requests for these famous brands.
In 2014, they realized Fly-Too for the Italian house Luceplan.

The Star lamp, designed in collaboration with Carlo Forcolini for OYlight, was selected in the ADI INDEX (2006) and the Four Season System in Lighting in ADI INDEX (2009).
