Studio Dechem

The studio DECHEM was created in Prague in 2012 by Michaela Tomiskova and Jakub Jandourek. They met for the first time at the Novy Bor School of Glass, where they both fell in love with the very first synthesized material in the history of mankind.

While Michaela is studying product design at the AAAD Prague (Prague Art Academy) and then working for several renowned design studios, Jakub continues to develop her skills in the lighting industry, which specializes in the manufacture of glass.

Since the creation of DECHEM studio, they have focused on product design and have kept a close eye on glass. They are thus designers of the Bomma house where they design including the very refined Phenomena collection.
