The designer Hannes Wettstein was born in 1958 in Ascona. He then graduated as a draftsman in architecture and decided to follow his studies as a designer and architect.
Driven by his passion for art and technology and his impulse to investigate and improve his surroundings, he developed more than 300 pieces of design in the years that followed.
Versatile enough, Hannes Wettstein creates furniture, watches, industrial products, lighting and many architectural projects for clients and international brands.
In 2008, Hannes Wettstein died in Zurich at the age of 50. It was then his business partner, the architect and designer Stephan Hürlemann who sued the Zurich agency according to the wishes of his friend. The studio has long kept the name of Studio Hannes Wettstein ... However, in 2016, it’s called Hürlemann.
The name has changed but the spirit of the studio is still the same. That of creating ever more original and elegant products with precise work.
