Founded in 2003 in Barcelona, the Studio Nahtrang (whose name is directly inspired by their history linked to the city of Nah Trang in Vietnam) is composed of the duo Ester Pujol and Daniel Vila. They have degrees in interior design and technical drawing respectively, and both teach at the EINA school in addition to their work as designers.
They develop several projects for national and international companies and create industrial lighting and furniture that have a significant impact on the design world. Their functional and decorative creations are often characterised by the use of metal and geometric shapes. They work for many brands such as the famous Spanish publishing house Estiluz and create for them the Circ and Volta collections, which are available as suspension, wall and table lamps.
Thanks to their contemporary and original designs, the duo has been featured in many famous magazine publications such as Interior Design, Wallpaper and Metropolis. The studio has also received several awards, the last one in 2020 for the #MetropolisLikes NYCxDesign Award with the circular mirror with integrated LED lighting from the Circ collection.
