Tradition and future, utility and sensitivity, humans and environment - the creative desire to unite polar opposites is what drives Limin Wang and Xiaoyi Lu. Both graduated from the University of Pforzheim with a degree in transportation design. Their design studio in Munich is called Studio Shuu.
Their designs are characterized by their clarity and poetry. Both designers seek not only to meet the needs and wishes of their clients, but also to rethink and redefine value, identity and beauty through their work.
The Kooi suspensions they design for the KDLN studio are inspired by the Chinese Shanshui painting and convey its philosophy.
