The young German designer Susanne Uerlings (née Maier) is now the artistic director of Produktsalon. She graduated in 2006 from the University of Applied Sciences in Coburg. After her studies she worked as an industrial designer for international clients of a prestigious German design office for almost five years.
Since 2011, she has been producing various design products such as furniture, lighting and kitchen accessories for her own company in Aachen, Germany. Susanne Uerlings believes that efficient design means elegance and functionality of products. Produktsalon designs products with easy instructions and high emotional value.
Susanne Uerlings has worked for the Belgian lighting company DARK, where she designed the Cup Cake luminaires.
