The result of a collaboration with New York's Metroplitan Museum of Art, Eichholtz presents the Imperial chandelier.

The Imperial chandelier is inspired by a marble column dating from around 300 BC, originating from the Temple of Artemis in Sardis, an exceptional piece in the Met's Greek and Roman art collection. This fluted Ionic column, originally over 58 feet high, features delicate foliage carvings on the capital, a singular feature among the temple's surviving columns.

This chandelier pays tribute to these remarkable details with its elegantly grooved elements, evoking the finesse and elegance of the carved motifs on the ancient column. Made with smoked glass and a brushed brass finish, it reflects the aesthetics and grandeur of this ancient heritage.

With a diameter of 44 cm and a height of 106 cm, the Imperial chandelier by Eichholtz embodies the very essence of antique art, fusing history and contemporary design to create a remarkable piece. We recommend 15 x 4W Max E14 LED bulbs.
