A true icon of 1950s French design, the Mante religieuse floor lamp embodies all the organic, avant-garde elegance of Rispal.

Inspired by natural, biomorphic forms - notably those of artist Jean Arp - this piece stands out for its sculptural, almost living silhouette, evoking the insect from which it takes its nickname. Its curved wooden base, combined with a cellulose acetate shade, offers a subtle balance between lightness and tension. Both a work of art and a source of light, this luminaire is timeless, spanning the ages without ever losing its modernity. A symbol of the revival of post-war French design, it remains one of Rispal's most emblematic models to this day.

In any interior, the Praying Mantis floor lamp instantly becomes a centerpiece. Ideally placed near an armchair or in the corner of a streamlined living room, it draws the eye while diffusing a soft, enveloping light.
