Here is the Caravaggio Matt pendant light, grey 25 finish, designed by Cecile Manz for the Danish brand Fritz Hansen.

The matt and silky aspect of the Caravaggio Matt gives this pendant a soft and warm aspect. The reference to silk lies in the softness of the touch and the warm silk enhances the silhouette of the famous Caravaggio shape in a sober and elegant way.

The Caravaggio™ pendant lights were launched in 2005 and instantly gained iconic design status. With Caravaggio, the designer Cecilie Manz combines a recognisable form with a modern expression.

The simple and timeless pendant light consists of a soft, feminine metal shade held in place by a chrome-plated metal suspension. The textile cable is particularly well integrated into the design and gives the lamp its final touch. The Caravaggio lamp casts a concentrated light downwards while illuminating both the pendant and the cable through a hole in the top of the lamp. The depth of the shade prevents glare.

The light measures 16.5 cm in diameter and 21.6 cm in height. The E27 LED bulb with a maximum power of 46W is not supplied but is required for the luminaire to work properly. Supplied with a white canopy and a 3 metre grey textile cable.
