The Glo-Ball Basic 2 table lamp, by Flos and designed by Jasper Morrison (1998), casts a soft, even light.

Its spherical shape evokes the calm glow of a full moon—a concept dear to the designer as he sought to create a “Super Normal” object that is both understated and iconic.

Ideal for a console table, desk, or nightstand, it creates a warm ambiance thanks to its opaline diffuser, which softens the light throughout the room. Designed for indoor use (dry areas), it blends easily with both contemporary and more classic decor, and its in-cord dimmer allows you to adjust the atmosphere throughout the day.

This lamp uses one E27-base bulb (not included; available in the essential accessories section) with a maximum wattage of 150W. It measures 45 cm in diameter and 36 cm in height, with a 1.9 m cord and a built-in dimmer switch on the cord.
