The inspiration behind this new family of lamps comes from the meteorite whose name it bears, the largest ever to fall to earth, discovered in Namibia in 1920. Hoba is inspired by the asymmetry and irregularity of this distant object in space and time.

Aesthetically, the Hoba Media wall sconce presents a captivating organic form with a glassy surface of gentle hollows, offering a changing appearance according to perspective.
