Wall light, Gothic I, brass, L10,6cm, H28cm - lyfa

This is the Gothic single wall lamp from Lyfa!

It is a unique wall lamp designed by Bent Karlby in 1970.
Surprisingly enough, there is still little information about this series, which makes GOTHIC an intriguing part of the Danish design mystery. The name was a reference by Karlby to the Gothic architectural style that flourished throughout Europe from the 12th to the 16th century and was characterised by tall, narrow structures with pointed arches.

The open top allows for upward lighting which leaves a striking pattern on the wall.
Through the narrow peepholes - one of Karlby's trademarks - a small stream of light flows outwards and onto the wall.

The luminaire measures 28 x 10.6 x 10.6 cm. The G9 max 28W light source is not included, the white cable measures 2.5m.
