French publishing house Designheure unveils a beautiful collection created in-house at their studio in Sète.

The Kaolin collection is a real "jewel" lighting fixture, 100% made in France.

The combination of biscuit-style Limoges porcelain and brass makes this hanging light a beautiful piece of design.

This unique lighting fixture is ideal for use as a headboard in bedrooms, living rooms, hallways... A wall outlet is required for this sconce to work properly. It is suspended by a steel cable, and the brushed brass elements extend the sconce like a mobile.

The name "Kaolin" comes from its composition of white, friable, refractory clays, composed mainly of kaolinite, aluminum silicates. Originally discovered in China, they are the basis of porcelain manufacture, but are also used in the paper industry, medicine and cosmetics.

The Kaolin collection is manufactured by Haviland, one of the last porcelain makers to produce its products entirely in Limoges.

A 3W LED bulb is supplied with the luminaire.
