MAISON VOLET GRIS - SCAVONE DESIGN HOUSE

Timeless - high-end - made-to-measure. Harmony between spaces was the guiding principle, with a unique and singular design. We added fun yet sober touches, and Nordic inspiration in materials and shapes.
Scavone design house rethought the volumes by demolishing several walls between the former dining room and the office to create a new double living room. The idea was to create a cozy space around a bespoke fireplace. We also worked on the geometry of the ceiling, creating a teardrop shape to emphasize this space, a roundness that we find again on the fireplace and central column.
On the other side of this large living room, a luxurious modular sofa has been chosen to dress up the room and allow the family to enjoy the different perspectives of each corner according to their desires. A singular and inviting space to welcome the family at any time. For this double living room, Scavone design house created a bespoke, architectural fireplace in corrugated metal, echoing the round shapes of the ceiling and column.
Harmony, softness and a cozy space where the whole family feels at home. For the dining room, we worked on a symmetrical design given the shape and location of the room as seen from the entrance. The furniture is contemporary and elegant. The two Scandinavian-style pendant lights provide the perfect balance and an airy feel.
For the walls, we chose warm tones that create a hushed, chic atmosphere, and highlight the existing woodwork. An existing staircase with lots of charm. We chose to dress it with a custom-made chandelier in an elegant, floral and modern look, creating a graphic and poetic effect.
