Because of the apartment's small surface area, we wanted to create an intimate architecture, a warm and comforting cocoon. Particularly for this project, we wanted to employ a sensitive, abstract approach to space, informed by the clients' profession as photographers.

The treatment of color in dabs leads to a new reading of the space, particularly in the living room. The simple lines of the bookcase play between solids and voids. The colorful office corner punctuates the room, linking living room and kitchen. The wooden kitchen is deliberately minimalist and uncluttered, with the green ceiling defining the dining area. The recessed waxed concrete credenza and the walnut shelf that crosses it add depth to the overall effect.

In the bathroom, we wanted to be bold in the architectural composition and combination of materials. The raw look of the opus incertum floor blends with clean lines and colors, contrasting with the elegant, raised vanity unit.

The small bedroom has been optimized to the maximum thanks to a total architecture where everything is integrated, including the bed in the alcove for seclusion. The graphic wooden composition on the ceiling reinforces the impression of a monastic cell and calls for rest.
