STRASBOURG - PETIT JOUR
Thanks to the high ceilings of this attic apartment, the customers' request was to create an office on the existing mezzanine, while retaining the sleeping area for their guests.
The highly focused intervention involved designing a new, optimized and practicable access to the mezzanine, consisting of numerous bespoke storage units accessible from the living room and the bedroom, located beneath the mezzanine. The staircase balustrade is also one of the legs of the office: the latter's layout allows you to work there facing the living room and its windows.
The access to the bedroom has been relocated and the solid door replaced by a largely glazed unit, so that natural light can penetrate this narrow space and views from the bed can escape.
