Apartment 130 m2, Paris 9

In this large Haussmann apartment in the 9ᵉ arrondissement, volumes have been reorganized and the whole modernized while preserving the character of the place. Moldings, herringbone parquet flooring and original fireplaces interact with timeless, noble materials: veined marble, travertine, dark wood, stainless steel and precious textiles.

The kitchen is built around a marble island, a central element that structures the space. The XXL stainless steel credenza adds a resolutely modern touch, while the custom-designed storage units embrace the volumes without breaking the sobriety of the space.

The reception area unfolds in a large, light-filled enfilade. The dining area is organized around a massive travertine table, highlighted by a sculptural suspension system. The living room, meanwhile, is structured around a bookcase, a veritable signature piece. Textiles, chosen in a range of ochres and greens, add a warm dimension and soften the rigor of the lines. In the master suite, the Haussmannian codes are enhanced by a more contemporary style. A graphic headboard in travertine and solid wood adorns the room and is supported by a discreet skylight that conceals a sleek, luminous waxed concrete shower room.

A blend of old-world charm and modernity, this apartment combines elegance, balance and uniqueness.
