In 2017, I created ParisBrooklyn with the desire to have a more personal approach to design and with the desire to be able to manage projects from the very first discussion, the very first ideas to the moment we check the final details on site.

I also think I needed to put some magic and experimentation back into my day to day work!

The name "ParisBrooklyn" is a mix of the city I grew up in (Paris) and my long term goal (Brooklyn). It's a lot of memories, and a testament to the incredible months I spent in New York! It's also a pretty evocative name
It's also a pretty evocative name for me because I particularly like to work on the Contrast.

The overall design and the coherence it brings to a project has always been at the heart of my approach. The users of the space are also essential in my approach and I am therefore very attentive to habits, lifestyles and functioning.

The place itself is a central element and always a starting point:
I like to search in the archives, to find materials that had been used, to revisit implementations and I really like to make little winks to the past. I can't conceive a project otherwise. And then there is a dimension linked to the place that I find extraordinary but that I will not be able to describe, sensations, emotions that belong to the intangible, that I love and that always feed my projects.
