RESTAURANT Auberge Frankenbourg
It is in 1985 that Mr. and Mrs. Buecher buy the inn of La Vancelle so the least we can say is that the place has a history! Their sons, Sébastien and Guillaume, grew up there and operate today in the dining room and in the kitchen.
This project was an opportunity to continue that history by preserving memories (their grandmother's cabinets, the antique doors in the breakfast room) and highlighting iconic elements (like the pink sandstone fireplace and front counter, the wine cellar).
Finding the balance between the old and the contemporary was always at the heart of the thinking. A completely customized project A completely custom project for which the furniture has been designed with comfort in mind and without forgetting the little winks to the sandstone of the surrounding mountains! I wanted to create an atmosphere as warm as the welcome you receive when you walk through the door of this inn! Photographer : Henri Vogt
