AUBERGE FRANKENBOURG - PARIS BROOKLYN
Mr. and Mrs. Buecher bought the Auberge de La Vancelle in 1985, so the place has quite a history, to say the least! Their sons, Sébastien and Guillaume, grew up there and now run the kitchen and dining room.
This project was an opportunity for us to work closely with them to develop a new concept. This project was an opportunity to continue this history by preserving the memories (their grandmother's cupboards, the antique doors in the breakfast room) and highlighting the emblematic elements (such as the pink sandstone fireplace and front counter, or the wine cellar).
Striking a balance between the old and the contemporary has always been at the heart of our thinking. A completely bespoke project for which the furniture was designed with comfort in mind, not forgetting the little nods to the sandstone of the surrounding mountains! An atmosphere as warm as the welcome is created as soon as you walk through the door of this inn!
