In 1965, Gae Aulenti designed the iconic Pipistrello table lamp for the Italian company Martinelli Luce.

The shape of the flared base was inspired by the wings of a bat (“pipistrello” in Italian). The lamp’s shade diffuses a soft yet intense light.

Pipistrello consists of a white opal methacrylate shade measuring 56 cm in diameter and an adjustable metal base with a height ranging from 70 to 86 cm.
The lamp comes with 4 E14 bulbs.
It is available in two sizes and several colors.
