Forestier, an attractive French company, is part of an energy that is more relevant than ever. Its luminaires and their surroundings are emblematic of this. Innovative tools and new technologies (LEDs, etc.) bring new skills to bear on the poetic and aesthetic spirit so dear to Forestier...

"What could be more attractive in the home than an elegant, functional lamp that also respects the environment and the energy constraints we face today?
We have entrusted these recognized or up-and-coming talents with the mission of creating specific objects with a strong identity, always at affordable prices.

The Forestier story began in 1992...
From 1992 to 2001: A topiary was at the origin of the adventure. Indeed, Bernard Forestier's passion for French gardens, their just proportions, their balance, the elegant alternation of straight lines and curves, was born from this art of landscaping. He cultivates a taste for beauty and a love of sculptural materials. This creative spirit challenges tradition and brings the art of botany into the home. He brings woven wire objects to life, before turning to materials as diverse as rusted metal, zinc and cast iron to present creations that are always airy, structured, combining poetry and humor. Over the years, Forestier has made a name for itself through its research and mastery of the delicate balance between nature and design, the refinement of its clean lines, and its choice of raw, authentic materials optimized by the work of craftsmen.

2002 - 2011: Ten years after its creation, the company changes direction with the death of Bernard Forestier. At Hélène Forestier's request, Gilles Dallière takes over as artistic director, demonstrating his determination to make each piece a "unique object". This evolution plays the card of luxury and naturalness with the utmost sobriety. Shapes become more sophisticated, with an emphasis on light and color, without losing the inimitable cachet of craftsmanship.

From 2012, Hélène Forestier hands over the reins to Jean-Dominique Leze, who has already created the "107 Rivoli" for Arts Décoratifs and the company ENO (Edition Nouveaux Objets) with François Bernard. Together with Gilles Dallière, who will remain at his side, it will be up to him to build the company's new field of expression for the years to come. His challenge? To build for the future without denying the past. Strengthen the brand's identity and power by marking out its unique territory and charting new paths.

Beyond its role as a publishing house, Forestier is reinventing itself as a creative and poetic brand, with design, nature and raw materials as its anchors. A brand that prioritizes function and consumer interest in a responsible approach.

"A design object is above all a fair, beautiful, useful, quality object that fulfils a function. Its design must remain simple, so as to emphasize its form, its materials and its technological or artisanal know-how", explains Jean-Dominique Leze. When a company turns a page in its history, as Forestier is doing today, it's to better project itself into a bright future spearheaded by design, but always with creativity, poetry and nature as its pillars.

Preserving the fundamentals of yesterday, but already imagining those of tomorrow... Continuing to demand the highest standards of quality, image and selection... Adapting to economic upheavals and reinventing ourselves: a modus vivendi for Forestier since its foundation! Drawing on the passion and experience of well-established personalities, and the expertise of professionals in every field... Another chapter begins...
