Introducing Herstal, Belid's Swedish "little sister" brand. Created in 1988, Herstal spreads its light in many homes in Northern Europe.
Conceived by Martin Herstal and his wife Lotte, the brand was born in the Vesterbro region of Denmark. Initially owners of a small lamp store, the young couple's ambition was to advise and sell lights that were both qualitative and beautiful to look at.
In the late 80's, the Herstal brand became famous for its playful and urban designed halogen louvers. Over the past decades, Herstal and its world have endured, as has the couple's goal of combining a playful and energetic design with qualitative lighting for each lamp.
Today, Herstal has joined the Belid Lighting group, allowing the brand's universe to continue to grow with its values and add a modern touch.
