a-emotional light is a Spanish brand born in Galicia in 1994, initially under the name "by Arturo Álvarez". For over twenty-five years, its founder, Arturo Álvarez, shaped the brand's unique style, characterized by a sculptural and emotional approach to light. He saw light not just as a functional tool, but as a language capable of conveying emotions, giving each luminaire a poetic, handcrafted dimension. His early creations blended traditional techniques with contemporary experimentation, laying the foundations for a strong identity that continues to influence the brand today.

After the company was sold in 2020, the a-emotional light brand evolved into a collective model, involving several internal and external designers while retaining the original spirit of innovation and craftsmanship. Studios and designers such as Cenlitrosmetrocadrado, Rafa Alonso and Isaac Piñeiro regularly collaborate with the brand, each bringing their own sensibility and style. This plurality of designers enables the brand to offer a variety of shapes, textures and volumes, from organic lines to more geometric structures, while exploring new materials and techniques.

The brand's working methods remain profoundly artisanal. Each piece is made by hand in their Galician workshop, combining traditional craftsmanship with innovation in the treatment of metals, metal fabrics and steel mesh.
