Adrien Rovero is a Swiss industrial designer born in 1981. He graduated with a Master's degree in industrial design from the École cantonale d'art de Lausanne (ECAL) in 2006, and that same year founded his own studio in Renens, Switzerland.
His work covers furniture, lighting and scenography. He collaborates with prestigious brands such as Hermès, Droog Design, Campeggi, Tectona, Sèvres Cité de la Céramique, Freitag, Swatch and Cristallerie Saint-Louis. His creations are characterized by a meticulous observation of everyday needs, an imaginative approach and a search for simple yet unexpected solutions.
Rovero has received several awards, including the Swiss Federal Design Prize in 2007 and 2011. His work is exhibited in renowned institutions such as the Centre Pompidou in Paris, the Mudac in Lausanne, the Grand Hornu in Belgium and the NMNM in Monaco.
In addition to his work as a designer, he teaches at the ECAL, helping to train the next generation of designers.
