Norwegian designer Andreas Bergsaker was born in 1990. Always passionate about design, he graduated with a Master in Product Design in Oslo and the College of Applied Sciences from Akershus University in 2015.

Based in Copenhagen, he designs products related to everyday life. Andreas Bergsaker creates sustainable products and focuses on traditional craftsmanship and tactile qualities. Beyond his personal creations, the designer works full time on the design and development of HAY in Copenhagen. His numerous creations have been rewarded at several exhibitions: London, New York, Milan, Oslo and Stockholm.

For him, Scandinavian design is about realigning the production of domestic goods with the founding values of Scandinavia. In his creations, the designer wants to bring together human concerns, beauty and simplicity in an industrial and contemporary context. With this idea, Scandinavian design becomes important and essential in the world of decoration.

By creating the Focus lamp, the designer imagines an object of everyday life with a sculptural appeal and a simple function: a lamp and a pedestal where you can pose and highlight personal items. This table lamp perfectly summarizes Andreas Bergsaker's ambition to add value to everyday objects.

The designer has always wanted to give a visual expression and delicate dimensions to his products. Indeed, his creations seduce by their personality and their authenticity.
