The internationally renowned multidisciplinary design studio Autoban, based in Istanbul, was founded in 2003 by Seyhan Özdemir and Sefer Çağlar, then joined by Efe Aydar.
With 40 employees, Autoban works in the fields of architecture and interior design, product design and experiential design, which has allowed it to build a reputation for seriousness, experimentation and craftsmanship.
By approaching each project first as storytellers, their work seeks to understand the character and context of each project. Each element is inspired by a unique space-centered approach, combining spirit with sophistication, and minimal shapes with rich materials.

In 2005, Autoban was named "Best Young Designer" by Wallpaper magazine*, and in 2006, their project MüzedeChanga was voted "Best Restaurant" by the same title.
In 2009, Autoban moved into its new studio at Beyoğlu, and received its first foreign clerk to design the award-winning 208-Duecento Otto restaurant in Hong Kong in 2010.
The commission was followed by another F&B project abroad in Madrid. In 2014, the studio received the Red Dot Design Award in recognition of its work at Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Seyhan Özdemir and Sefer Çağlar have participated as keynote speakers and jury members in major architecture and design events around the world, including the iF Product Design Awards, Downtown Design Dubai and Milan Design Week, as well as major trade shows to showcase their product creations.
