“Designing is versatile, varied & exciting”
The famous Danish brand, Louis Polsen found him thanks to his final project for his Architectural School in Aarhus, where he graduated in 2002. Louis Polsen felt in love with his style and wanted him to make a light fixture for them. Later, he started to collaborate with them in 2006 and he also won the Danish Design Award in 2019 with his wall light “Flindt Wall” which is famous.
The aesthetic of his creation is unusual and revolutionary: he likes to use lightning in furniture: the “Light Box Chair” which is composed by LED are really important for him. LED gives him a great opportunity to create because it is simple to use, really easy to combine with any materials.
Christian Flindt got inspired by people, for him: communication is key. It helps him to understand better the humans’ need. He also wants to create communication between his creation and people. He highlights the importance of the lightning for Humans; he has a long-term vision of the lightning in the future which is indispensable since forever.
