French designer born in Boulogne-Billancourt in 1964, he graduated from the Ecole Nationale des Beaux-Arts in Dijon in 1986. He started out in interior architecture, before founding the "18 Août" group in 1987.

In 1991, Fabrice Berrux founded the company Dix Heures Dix, expanding and reorganising the production of 18 Août. In 1994, he exhibited at Via in Paris. From 1990, some of his products entered the collection of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris and were sold in the shops of the museums of Modern Art in Rotterdam, Dallas, Los Angeles, Chicago and at the George Pompidou Centre in Paris.

He then taught in Dijon, Limoges and Reims and at the Charpentier academy in Paris. He then taught design at the École Bleue in Paris.
